School Integration Program
(Curriculum-based Robotics)
The STEM Center Robotics School Integration Program is designed to provide comprehensive STEM education to both primary and secondary schools in Uganda. This program aims to equip students with essential skills and knowledge in various STEM disciplines, fostering innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Program Components
Programming
- Fundamentals of Programming: Introduction to programming concepts and logical thinking.
- Arduino: Hands-on experience with Arduino microcontrollers for electronics projects.
- Python: Learning Python programming language for software development.
- App Development with MIT App Inventor: Creating mobile apps to solve real-world problems.
Electronics
- Circuit Design: Understanding the principles of circuit design and electronics.
- Soldering: Hands-on soldering techniques for building electronic circuits.
- PCB Design: Introduction to PCB design, including schematic and layout design.
3D Design
- Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design: Exploring innovative design thinking and user-centric product development.
- CAD Design with Fusion 360 & SolidWorks: Learning computer-aided design for 3D modeling.
- 3D Printing: Practical experience in 3D printing technology for prototyping and production.
Mechanics
- Principles of Mechanical Design: Understanding the fundamentals of mechanical engineering.
- Structural Design: Designing structures, frames, and mechanisms for various applications.
- Motion and Force Mechanics: Exploring the mechanics of motion and forces in machines.
IoT (Internet of Things)
- Introduction to IoT technologies, including sensors, data collection, and connectivity.
- Building IoT projects, including remote monitoring and control systems.
Pricing Structure
The pricing structure is based on the number of students and the services selected by the school. The unit price per student is 50,000 Uganda shillings.
